Certified ESRA Diploma on Regional Anaesthesia

The ESRA Diploma on Regional Anaesthesia aims to educate clinicians involved in regional anaesthesia in the latest developments in the field.

What are the Requisites for attendance?

1- Written candidate’s certification: performance of at least:Oxsora regional anaesthesia

  • 100 central blocks
  • 50 upper limb blocks
  • 50 lower limb blocks

2- ESRA membership- 75 euros per year which also gives you the monthly Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine journal

3- Certificate of Attendance of at least two ESRA workshops (National or European) during the last three years: cadaver workshop (mandatory); hands-on; ultrasound; animal

 

How it works

Two years exam

  • a. First Year - Written Exam
    100 Multiple Choice Questions
    2 hours examination

    Topics: anatomy, pharmacology, central blocks, peripheral blocks, obstetric regional anaesthesia, paediatric regional anaesthesia, acute pain
  • b. Second Year - Practical Exam
    (only after passing the written exam)

    45 minutes examination
    On Simulator and/or Models

When and Where

XXVIII Annual ESRA Congress, Normally each September
Fee 100 Euro (50 Euro/Year)
